This page answers questions. It does not sort rumors; our confirmed vs rumor page does that. Here, every question gets a two-line answer, the id of the fact in our fact base, the tier of the source, and the date the source was published. Where nobody official has answered, the answer is "not known yet", and we say what would settle it.

What is counted, and how
We started from the questions that pre-launch pages keep repeating and kept 25 that a primary source can answer, or that a primary source shows nobody has answered yet.
Each answer cites its id in our fact base (F for confirmed, R for rumor) and a tier:
- R: Rockstar primary (Newswire, rockstargames.com, Rockstar Store, Rockstar Support).
- T2: Take-Two primary (SEC filings, earnings releases).
- PLAT: the PlayStation Store or Xbox Store listing, which carries Rockstar's own copy.
- PRESS: a major outlet reporting a direct Rockstar or Take-Two statement.
"Source date" is when the source was published or last updated. Prices, times and store terms were re-read on the live store pages on Oct 11 2026. We counted 22 answers that rest on R, T2 or PLAT sources and 3 that are honestly "not known yet". One answered question, the unlock time (#2), is only partly answered, so it also appears in the open-questions table below.

What the "not known yet" answers have in common
Three of the 25 questions have no official answer, and a fourth is only partly answered. Here is what would settle each one.

The pattern is useful. The questions about buying are answered in detail, because Rockstar and the stores had to publish terms to take money. The questions about the download and the platforms' subscription services are not, because nobody has had to commit yet. If you see a confident number for file size or a Game Pass date elsewhere, it did not come from a primary source.

- Pre-orders opened on a Thursday (Jun 25 2026), pre-load opens on a Thursday (Nov 12), and launch is a Thursday (Nov 19).
- The PlayStation Store showed us the release as 12:00 AM EST from a US browser, and the same listing read as 05:00 AM UTC from a server. Those are the same moment.
- Rockstar Store lists 13 supported languages, from English to Portuguese (Brazil) (F7).
