GTA VI Pre-Order Bonuses: Vice City Pack and GTA+

Who gets the Vintage Vice City Pack and the free GTA+ month, why physical buyers miss GTA+, the Nov 19 23:59:59 cut-off, and the two redemption clocks.

Last checked: Oct 11 2026. Store terms can change before launch. We re-read the PlayStation, Xbox and Rockstar pages on Oct 11 and will update this page when they change.

There are two pre-order bonuses, and they follow different rules. The Vintage Vice City Pack goes to every buyer before Nov 20 2026, digital or physical. The free month of GTA+ goes only to digital pre-orders made on the PlayStation Store or the Microsoft Store, and each platform runs its own redemption clock. The second point is where most buyers will trip: an Xbox pre-order placed before Oct 2 2026 has an earlier GTA+ deadline than any PlayStation one.

Our editions page covers which edition to buy. This page goes deeper on the two bonuses only.

What is counted, and how

Everything here comes from four Rockstar and platform pages, each read on Oct 11 2026: Rockstar Support's editions article (last updated Aug 18 2026), the Rockstar Store page and its FAQ, the US PlayStation Store listing with PlayStation's own GTA+ offer page, and the US Xbox Store listing. Where two pages word the same rule differently, we quote both.

We did not find a regular monthly price for GTA+ on any of these pages, so we print none. No page says which time zone the 23:59:59 cut-off uses. The 180-day dates below are our arithmetic, shown step by step.

The Vintage Vice City Pack

Rockstar's list has three items: a '55 Vapid Stanier sedan and garage, outfits and hairstyles, and an exclusive weapon pattern. The Xbox Store copy adds detail:

  • The Stanier is stored in the Shore Court garage, near Ocean Beach, which has a weapon locker and a place to leave stolen goods for fencing.
  • The outfits include a pastel linen suit for Jason and a red sequin mini dress for Lucia.
  • The weapon pattern is a tropical print that the copy ties to Tommy Vercetti's palm tree shirt from GTA Vice City.
  • All items become available to Jason and Lucia "as their story progresses", so not all of them are there at the first save.

Rockstar's Newswire post says "all" pre-orders and purchases before Nov 20 get the pack. Rockstar Support's physical list confirms that the code in the box carries it. The Xbox add-on listing words it more narrowly, as included with "all digital purchases" made before the cut-off; it does not mention physical copies either way. The Rockstar Store adds an asterisk, "while supplies last", to its own offer.

Why physical buyers do not get GTA+

Three Rockstar pages agree:

  1. Rockstar Support lists GTA+ under digital versions. Its physical pre-order list names the game code and the three Vintage items, and nothing else.
  2. The Rockstar Store labels GTA+ a "Digital Store Pre-Order Bonus".
  3. The Rockstar Store FAQ limits the offer to players who "pre-ordered Grand Theft Auto VI from PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store before November 20, 2026".

PlayStation's own offer page also says the offer covers the "digital version of either the Standard or Ultimate Edition". The practical result is that a code-in-box copy from the Rockstar Store or any retailer comes without the GTA+ month, even though the box holds only a download code (see our pre-load and physical copy page).

Who gets what: by buyer type

This is our table. Each cell traces to one of the pages above.

Two extra rules sit on the platform pages:

  • One per account. PlayStation: "once-per-account, regardless of additional purchases". Xbox: "one redemption per Platform Account". A second copy does not bring a second month.
  • Account restrictions. Xbox says redemption is not available to child accounts restricted from age-rated content. PlayStation says the month cannot be transferred and must be redeemed on the account that pre-ordered. PlayStation also excludes its stores in Bahrain, China, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Russia and Taiwan from the offer.

The cut-off: Nov 19 at 23:59:59

The PlayStation and Xbox listings both say "Purchase prior to 19 November 2026 23:59:59". Rockstar and PlayStation's offer page say "before November 20". These are the same moment in words. No page names a time zone, so the safe reading is to buy by the evening of Nov 19 in your own time.

That leaves a 24-hour window on launch day, from midnight to 23:59:59 on Nov 19, in which a purchase still qualifies for the pack.

The two redemption clocks

PlayStation gives everyone the same fixed date, Mar 31 2027. Xbox counts 180 days from when you placed your pre-order, and the Rockstar Store FAQ words it as 180 days "after your purchase". So on Xbox, the earlier you pre-ordered, the earlier your deadline.

Here is the arithmetic for three pre-order dates, counting 180 calendar days forward:

Xbox pre-order placed+ 180 daysXbox redeem-by datePlayStation redeem-by date
Jun 25 2026 (first day of pre-orders)Jun 25 + 180 daysDec 22 2026Mar 31 2027
Oct 11 2026 (date of our check)Oct 11 + 180 daysApr 9 2027Mar 31 2027
Nov 19 2026 (launch day)Nov 19 + 180 daysMay 18 2027Mar 31 2027

Worked example for the first row: Jun 25 to Jul 25 is 30 days, then 31 (Aug 25), 31 (Sep 25), 30 (Oct 25), 31 (Nov 25), 30 (Dec 25). That is 183 days to Dec 25, so 180 days lands three days earlier, on Dec 22 2026.

An Xbox buyer who pre-ordered on day one and waits to redeem until after the holidays will have missed the month. A PlayStation buyer who pre-orders on launch day still has 132 days, to Mar 31 2027.

The crossover is easy to compute: Mar 31 2027 minus 180 days is Oct 2 2026. An Xbox pre-order placed on Oct 2 2026 has the same deadline as PlayStation; one placed earlier has an earlier deadline, and one placed later has a later one.

The Xbox listing says a pop-up appears on the console when the month is ready to redeem. We cannot yet confirm when that pop-up appears.

Auto-renew: what PlayStation says

PlayStation's listing says that after the month, "memberships auto-renew monthly at the regular monthly price until canceled". Its offer page adds that the checkout screen shows the date the paid subscription begins, and that you can cancel under Subscriptions Management before that date. Existing GTA+ subscribers can claim the month too: it is added on to their current subscription.

The Xbox listing does not mention auto-renewal. We do not assume either way. Read the checkout screen when you redeem.

Trivia

  • The Xbox Store copy ties the Vintage pack's weapon pattern to an earlier GTA lead, Tommy Vercetti.
  • Standard Edition pre-order buyers get a garage too, the Shore Court garage for the Stanier, not only Ultimate buyers.
  • PlayStation's offer page notes that stacking a month onto an existing subscription is "usually not supported" on its store; this offer is an exception.
