What to write to us about
- A correction
- Name the brief or article and what is wrong. If we got it wrong, we fix it and update the page.
- A post that breaks the rules
- Use the Report button on the post, so a moderator sees it in the queue. Three reports hide a post until it is reviewed. Write to us when it is urgent, for example someone posting your personal details.
- A moderation appeal
- Tell us your username and which post or decision you want looked at again. The process is in the community guidelines.
- A privacy request
- Access, correction or deletion of what we hold about you. Write from the email address on your account. The privacy policy says what we store.
- A copyright notice
- Follow the steps on the DMCA page so your notice has everything we need to act on it.
- Press and advertising
- Questions about the site, the desk or advertising.
We never ask for your password, by email or anywhere else. Do not send one.
