CONFIRMED
Rockstar opens pre-orders for a $399.99 Vice City Collection box, and the game is not in it
The Goodtime State - Vice City Collection is limited, sold while supplies last, and arrives Nov 19. GTA VI itself is sold separately.
Rockstar Games opened pre-orders on Sep 24 2026 for "The Goodtime State - Vice City Collection," a limited collector's set sold through the Rockstar Store while supplies last. Rockstar says it arrives Nov 19, the day Grand Theft Auto VI launches.
The Rockstar Store lists it at $399.99, and the listing is plain about one thing: "Grand Theft Auto VI game sold separately."
The store lists 11 items:
- A Macca the Gator figure
- Oakley Frogskins sunglasses
- A Leonida Keys crossbody bag
- A New Era 9FORTY snapback hat
- A Macca the Gator magnetic mirror
- A Chunkee the Manatee shot glass
- A Vice City swizzle spoon
- A Vice City razor blade keychain
- A Leonida Keys enamel pin set in a metal tin
- A Leonida Keys sticker pack
- A double-sided souvenir poster with a map of Leonida
Macca the Gator is a Goodtime State TV character in Rockstar's game copy, and the Ultimate Edition's Goodtime Gear clothing takes its cue from him.
Why it matters. The name sounds like an edition, and it is not one. GTA VI has two editions, Standard at $79.99 and Ultimate at $99.99 in the US. The collection is merchandise. Its listing does not mention any in-game content, and buying it does not get you the game. At $399.99 it costs about four times as much as the Ultimate Edition.
What is still unknown. Rockstar has not said how many sets it is making, or which countries the set ships to. Beyond Rockstar's Nov 19 arrival date, no shipping schedule has been published.
